We are looking for a hardworking Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, your duties and responsibilities will include planning exact cost estimates for completing projects and ventures. You will do so by researching and collecting the data and examining the same for crucial measurements. 

You will be responsible to utilize your knowledge in estimating work and conclude some tentative delivery schedules. You will also provide your knowledge of cost and profits that will help in making some profitable business decisions. You should possess excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset. 

You should also be thorough and apt in overseeing relationships with key people. Your main objective is to provide comprehensive reports so the organization can make informed decisions. You will indirectly enhance profitability and contribute to faster development.

Responsibilities

• Establish associations with key vendors like subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.

• Give precise consultation on planning (e.g. labor needs, schedules and so on).

• Decide key factors for an expense and further, share the required estimates.

• Assemble direct data from stockrooms, sites or different locations.

• Organize research sessions to get information on work costs, materials, manufacturing times and so on.

• Utilize third-party software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

• Acquire and audit the offers and statements shared by subcontractors or sellers.

• Research about the potential risk factors and perform risk analysis.

• Make and submit estimate reports or offers to suitable people (e.g.project managers, customers, bidding competitions and so on).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Science or relevant field.

• Professional Estimator Certification (CPE) will be a plus.

• Proven 2+ years of work experience as an Estimator, Construction Estimator, or a similar position.

• Familiar with various financial and project management standards.

• Thorough knowledge of research and information analysis strategies to comprehend the undertaking project and its prerequisites.

• Expert in estimating formulas.

• Splendid Maths and IT capabilities with an analytical mindset.

• Capable of applicable programming software (e.g.Timberline, HCSS HeavyBid).

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Detail-oriented individual.

• Attention to detail for accuracy.
