We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Game Designer to join our team of young professionals. You will be conceptualizing games of varied genres to suit different age groups.  Besides, you will be pitching ideas to the senior management team. You should be able to conduct market research and keep track of the latest industry trends.

You will be coordinating with UX Designer to ensure appealing graphics and a smooth user interface. Apart from designing games, you will be conducting reviews to understand user experience. Also, you should be able to enhance the features of existing games. 

To excel in this position, you should have excellent coding skills and a detail-oriented approach. In addition to this, you should be able to work collaboratively. Your willingness to transform rough sketches into an interactive game will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Planning and designing interactive games, both for educational and entertainment purposes

• Developing storyline, plot, characters, and settings

• Suggesting game ideas to senior management and team members

• Establishing gaming prototypes

• Monitoring project progress and workflows

• Coordinating with QA Testers to test the game features

• Ensuring games work on different platforms and devices

• Understanding audience requirements by conducting market research

• Planning and writing storyboards

• Communicating with UX Designers for friendly game functionality

• Gathering reviews on game designs

• Experimenting with different game designs, themes, and genres

• Checking for the sound and video quality to achieve desired results

• Improving the functionality of existing games

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Game Design or related field

• Previous work experience as a Game Designer or similar position in the Design industry

• A certification in programming languages is preferred

• Familiarity with gaming software like GDevelop, Stencyl, and GameSalad

• Knowledge of the latest gaming trends and technologies

• Basic design skills
