Job Overview 

Our educational institute is in search of an experienced Nurse Educator to join us. Your job responsibilities will include providing students with both, theoretical and practical nursing lessons. Also, you should be up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and  develop the curriculum accordingly. Besides, you should be able to research and gather teaching and reference materials. 

As a Nurse Educator, you should be patient, have excellent teaching skills and a detail-oriented approach. Furthermore, you should also display good hygiene standards. You should also demonstrate excellent physical dexterity and strong leadership skills. You should also be able to review the students’ progress and provide them with the necessary feedback. 

To be able to perform in this job role, you should hold a valid registered license to practice and a Nurse Educator certification. You should also be able to handle stressful situations and manage your time efficiently. In addition to this, you should be able to serve as a mentor and help the students identify growth opportunities.

Responsibilities 

• Teaching and overseeing the performance of the nursing students 

• Planning and developing curriculum 

• Gathering educational and reference materials for the lessons 

• Reviewing the students’ progress and providing feedback 

• Staying up-to-date with the clinical practices and advancements in the medical sector 

• Guiding the students in utilizing the right technology when looking after the patients 

• Providing evidence-based training to both, licensed and unlicensed nurses 

• Ensuring adherence to the educational policies and safety procedures at all times 

Requirements 

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing 

• Holding a valid registered Nurse license and Nurse Educator certification 

• BLS certification is mandatory 

• 3-5 years of experience as a Nurse Educator or a similar position in the Education industry 

• Complete knowledge of all clinical practices, educational policies, and regulations 

• Excellent teaching skills 

• Strong communication and presentation skills 

• Displaying a patient and approachable personality 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Maintaining good hygiene standards 

• Ability to handle stressful situations 

• Strong leadership qualities 

• Excellent physical dexterity
