Our Engineering department is in search of a Calibration Technician to join us. You will be primarily responsible for carrying out calibration procedures and monitoring the same. Also, you should be able to travel to different locations and perform equipment inspections.
As a Calibration Technician, you should be able to review and repair equipment. Moreover, you should also be able to maintain a record of daily operations. In addition to this, you should also be able to prepare calibration certificates and data reports.
To be able to perform in this job role, you should have excellent mechanical and technical skills. Also, you should be familiar with inspection and testing equipment and tools. Your strong analytical and troubleshooting skills will be an added advantage.

Performing thorough equipment inspections
Testing repaired equipment for quality standards
Scheduling appointments for equipment maintenance and servicing
Ensuring that the equipment is calibrated as per specifications and industry standards
Addressing and troubleshooting any client queries and equipment failures
Reviewing and repairing equipment
Analyzing and suggesting equipment upgrades
Maintaining and updating a record of all daily operations
Ensuring a complete stock of calibration equipment and supplies
Maintaining documentation of the calibration process
Administering and monitoring calibration procedures
Ensuring completion of tasks as per the assigned deadlines
Assisting in preparing calibration certificates and data reports
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Calibration Technician or a similar role in the Engineering department
Complete understanding of Calibration procedures and testing techniques
Familiarity with inspection, testing equipment and quality control tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, pareto diagrams, and control charts
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent mathematical and mechanical skills
Willingness to travel to different locations
Ability to work for long hours
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
A team player as well as the ability to work independently
Having an eye for detail
Ability to offer excellent customer service
