We are looking for a skilled and qualified candidate to join as a Cook in our restaurant.
You will be responsible for cooking delicacies for our customers. You will also be adding new recipes and upgrading our menu. The main aim of this role is to provide a different variety of cuisines to our customers. You will also be responsible for managing the pantry and training the junior staff. You should ensure that all the meals are well prepared under proper hygiene conditions.

Keep workstations and the cooking space clean.
Train the junior staff accordingly.
Add new and delicious food items to the menu.
Ensure all the ingredients are fresh and timely available.
Maintain the quality and standard of the meals.
Prepare ingredients and other types of equipment.
Chop and cut vegetables before actually preparing the meal
Make sure the presentation of the dish being served is good.
Store the ingredients in a proper hygienic way
Ensure the utensils and cutlery are properly sanitized before use.
Prepare the dishes according to the customer’s requirements.
A degree from a culinary school. High School Diploma will also be considered
Proven 5 years of experience working as a Cook in a reputable restaurant, Chef, or a similar position in the Hospitality Industry.
Extensive knowledge of grills and other cooking procedures
Proficient in cutting and chopping fruits and vegetables.
Neat and clean personality.
Strong understanding of food handling techniques.
