Our IT and Development department is in search of a Mathematician to be a part of our team. You will be responsible for helping us with data analysis. You should be able to perform in-depth research and review security policies and procedures. Besides, you will be responsible for determining appropriate methods and techniques for data analysis. 

As a Mathematician, you should have complete knowledge of various mathematical and statistical models and principles. Moreover, you should be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Your familiarity with various data analytical tools will be beneficial. 

To ensure success in this job role, you should have decent years of work experience in the IT industry. In addition to this, you should be able to provide data to support business decisions. You should be able to manage stressful situations and handle strict deadlines.

Responsibilities 

• Researching and studying new mathematical principles to expand knowledge 

• Creating and presenting various engineering and business models  

•  Assisting in developing computational codes and techniques 

• Supplementing developed models with appropriate examples 

• Explaining various mathematical theories and concepts 

• Conducing in-depth analysis of mathematical data and reports 

• Providing well-researched and analyzed data to business owners  

• Developing and applying mathematical theories to experiments 

• Defining methods for performing data analysis 

• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques 

• Reviewing security policies and procedures and suggesting improvements 

• Coordinating with the Data Scientist to develop solutions and strategies 

• Handling structured and unstructured data 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field 

• 3-5 years of work experience as a Mathematician, Data Scientist, Data Analyst , or a similar role in the IT and Development industry 

• Complete knowledge of mathematical, statistical models, and principles 

• Familiarity with data analytical tools like R Programming, Tableau Public ,and RapidMiner 

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills 

• Good communication and presentation skills 

• Ability to conduct in-depth research 

• Impressive data analysis skills 

• Having an eye for detail 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

• Deadline and results-driven individual
