We are looking for an experienced Crime Investigator to join us. You will be responsible for investigating various crime scenes and tracking any violations to the local, federal, and state law. You should also be able to gather, analyze, and maintain a record of all evidences.
You should be able to prepare search, arrest warrants and testify in court as and when needed. Moreover, you should be able to prepare and maintain detailed crime reports. Your strong analytical skills will be helpful in generating various crime theories. Besides, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent researching skills.
As a Criminal Investigator, you should have proven work experience as well as complete knowledge of the criminal laws. Besides, you should be able to maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information. In addition to this, you should be able to work at flexible hours and willing to visit various crime locations.

Investigating complex criminal activities
Making note of any violations to the local, federal, and state law
Gathering and analyzing evidence
Maintaining an accurate record of all research findings
Coordinating with Crime Scene Investigators while examining various crime scenes
Preparing detailed and accurate case reports
Maintaining and updating crime reports and files
Assisting in preparing search and arrest warrants
Testifying in court as and when needed
Examining surveillance cameras and other equipment at crime scenes
Attending training sessions and upgrading skills
Coordinating with the Forensic Scientist and sending crime scene evidences to the crime lab
Identifying and prosecuting perpetrators
Generating various crime scene theories and eliminating the wrong ones
Analyzing laboratory findings and following up on leads
Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Criminal Law, Criminal Justice, or a related field
3-5 years of work experience as a Crime Investigator, Crime Scene Investigator, or a similar position in the Legal industry
Complete knowledge of criminal law, state rules and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong researching and interrogation skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Willingness to travel to different locations
Ability to work at flexible hours and on weekends
A team player as well as the ability to work independently
