We are pleased to announce that we are looking for a passionate and experienced candidate to join us as a Crime Scene Investigator.  

You will be responsible for performing various crime scene investigations. You will also be responsible for collecting evidence from the crime scene such as fingerprints, blood samples, hair, or fibers of the cloth.  

As an ideal candidate, you should hold Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science, Criminology, or a similar field. To be successful in this job role, you should possess excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to pay close attention to details.

Responsibilities  

• Responding to the Police and arriving at the crime scene on time.  

• Performing all the criminal investigations at the crime scene.  

• Making sure the crime scene is secured properly.  

• Identifying, collecting, and packaging the evidence at the crime scene.  

• Ensuring the pieces of evidence are accurate and not contaminated.  

• Finding evidence in the areas near the crime scene that may support in the future.  

• Taking photographs and videos of the crime scene.  

• Lifting and collecting fingerprints and blood samples, if any.  

• Transporting all the evidence to the forensic laboratory safely.  

• Preparing and maintaining documentation on evidence collected at the scene.  

• Writing a detailed report in regards to the crime scene.  

• Attending workshops and conferences to improve knowledge.  

• Working in collaboration with the Forensic Scientist, Forensic Physiologist, and other team members.  

• Attending court sessions to submit the evidence for the trial process.  

• Staying updated about the trends in various industries.  

Requirements  

• Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, or a similar degree.  

• Working experience as a Crime Scene Investigator or a relevant role in the Legal department.  

• Should complete at least 144 hours of CSI Board-approved instruction in crime scene-related activities.  

• Good oral and written communication skills.  

• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.  

• Ability to solve complex problems and make a concise decision.  

• Ability to work for long working hours as well as on holidays.  

• Good critical thinking abilities.  

• A keen eye on details of accuracy.  

• Willingness to travel at any moment.
