Job Overview 

We are in need of a District Attorney Investigator to help us with various case investigations. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on the various court cases assigned to you. Besides, you should also be able to use the information to create detailed and accurate case reports and files. Also, you should be able to locate and interrogate witnesses and suspects. 

You will also be responsible for preparing search and arrest warrants and presenting testimonies in court. Moreover, you should be able to represent the District Attorney’s office at various meetings. As part of your job responsibilities, you should have complete knowledge of the various investigative techniques, legal processes, and laws. 

As a District Attorney Investigator, you should be detail-oriented and have a highly reliable personality. Furthermore, you should also be able to handle any stressful situations. You should also be able to work independently as well as display good collaborative skills. In addition to this, you should adhere to the local, state, and federal laws at all times.

Responsibilities 

• Investigating and researching assigned court cases 

• Coordinating with the District Attorney and preparing cases for the court 

• Maintaining and updating an accurate record of all the case information 

• Investigating and locating witnesses 

• Putting into place search and arrest warrants 

• Examining witness and suspect statements and questioning the parties involved  

• Presenting testimonies in court 

• Participating and representing the District Attorney’s office at various meetings 

• Examining public and private records to determine suspected violation charges 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related field 

• Holding a valid driver’s license and a training certification 

• 3-5 years of experience as a District Attorney Investigator, Crime Investigator , or a similar role in the Legal industry 

• Complete knowledge of various investigative techniques, legal processes, and laws 

• Excellent researching and analytical skills 

• Strong communication and presentation skills 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

• Highly motivated and reliable individual 

• Ability to handle stressful situations 

• Ability to provide excellent customer service
