We are looking to appoint a DPO (Data Protection Officer) so that our company complies with the terms of GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation.
As per this Data Protection Officer (DPO) role, you are responsible to guide our company on our compliance with GDPR and local information security laws. You should enforce compliance with legislation and train our staff to build familiarity with data protection measures.
You should ensure that our company is complying with the GDPR in all possible aspects. In the case of conflict of interest, you should handle the situation thoughtfully.
You should also encourage GDPR compliance through a transparent information protection approach, policy, frameworks, and strategies.

Train the staff to handle information, data process activities, etc.
Recognize and purpose activities of a company’s data processing.
Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) on a timely basis.
Screen information management techniques.
Attend meetings with managers to ensure privacy at all levels.
Manage records of Data Protection operations.
Serve as an only source contact between the company and supervisory authority.
Address all inquiries from information subjects within legal time spans (e.g. deletion of the information from a database).
Inform and advise guidelines on the protection of personal data protection and public authorities.
Perform audits and offer consultation on the most proficient method to manage protection ruptures.
Take initiatives for awareness-raising among staff with respect to data protection measures.
Follow up with changes in law and provide suggestions to ensure compliance with the GDPR.
BS/BA Degree in Law or relevant field.
Proven 3+ years of experience as a Data Protection Officer, Compliance Officer or relevant position.
Outstanding knowledge of EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as International data protection rules.
Familiar with data processing operations and computer security systems will be preferred.
Expert knowledge of data protection law and practices will be an advantage
Maintain ethics to report all non-compliances and remain impartial.
