The Access to Skills and Employment department is looking for and entrepreneurial, visionary and experienced Manager to oversee the development, implementation and integration of a first-of-its kind regional youth employability portals . These portals – on both mobile and web, bring together partners working in the field of youth employment to provide, in one place, support and information that young people need. One place for tools, advisors, training, opportunities, events, mentors, online resources, internships, career guidance and communities that young people can access.

Responsibilities

• Manage web-based & mobile based portal development with partners / suppliers.
• Managing a team of volunteers, interns and consultants to keep the portals dynamic and active.
• Developing a large base of local and regional partners for portal content, services and youth mobilization.
• Managing the relationship with partners for rollout of the initiatives
• Owning and delivering against the KPIs for the workstream:
• Track and report on all site metrics (user analytics) and forthcoming developments on a monthly basis to senior managers
• Manage SEO and social media strategies

Requirements

• Technological background with a focus on web design/development and online marketing
• Experience with management of technical, design, content and marketing teams
• Web entrepreneurship experience preferred
• Exceptional (verbal and written) communication and organizational skills
• 3-5 years experience managing online portals / web based businesses
• Business Development and Marketing experience for online portals
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Fluent in English and Arabic (French is desirable)
