Job Overview

We are looking for a Crime Analyst with a strong moral conduct and excellent analytical skills to join our Security department. You should be able to analyze data to check for recurring patterns pointing to criminal activities. During this procedure, you will be required to visit crime scenes to gather evidence and be in touch with key witnesses. 

Besides, you will be coordinating with law enforcement personnel like Police Officers, Detectives, and Investigators on a daily basis. You will also be communicating with witnesses and analyzing crime reports to arrive at a logical conclusion. 

As a part of your job role, you will be creating and conducting visual presentations to help law enforcement personnel solve the case at hand. Moreover, you will be required to attend workshops to upgrade your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Collecting data related to criminal activities

• Analyzing data to determine trends or any recurring criminal behavior

• Cross-examining and interviewing eyewitnesses or those present at the crime scenes

• Coordinating with law enforcement personnel to solve the case sooner

• Assisting Police Officers when visiting the crime scenes

• Communicating with Forensic experts in gathering and analyzing DNA samples

• Collecting photographs or any other evidence from the crime scenes

• Writing detailed crime reports by referring to the crime statistics, trends, and existing police reports

• Developing and implementing crime prevention strategies

• Offering court testimonials when needed

• Creating and maintaining a database of criminal activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Statistics, Public Administration or relevant field

• Proven work experience as a law enforcement department

• Private detective license is preferred

• Holding a clean criminal record

• Familiarity with crime mapping software such as ArcGIS, BAIR Analytics and CrimeView

• Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, IBM Cognos Analytics, and Zoho Analytics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
